From current perspectives, China appears to have an awe-inspiring future ahead of it. In the next two decades, its economy is set to attain dimensions of size unparalleled in history, with a massive new, richer Chinese generation emerging in sprawling urban areas. If the future is going to be anything like current projections, China - unlike Japan - will fulfil enormous expectations.
