Objective To facilitate the client's entry into the Russian/CIS markets. Methodology The Beijing Axis studied the CIS market for the 3 major kinds of products listed by the client, and shortlisted the top 20 stockists/distributors and end-users for each product in Russia and the Ukraine. By means of a strict filtering process, which included extensive correspondence, visits, interviews etc., The Beijing Axis generated a comprehensive market entry strategy report and was able to recommend the most suitable partners for the client. Outcome The client visited and conducted negotiations with the recommended partners (stockists and suppliers) in Russia and the Ukraine, with arrangements for the visit undertaken by The Beijing Axis, who also accompanied the client. The client subsequently gave favourable impressions of The Beijing Axis' work, and has now started to build long-term business relationships with new partners in the Russian and CIS markets, which are facilitated by The Beijing Axis. |
